Some frequently asked questions…

Do you see adults or adolescents?

I see both adolescents and adults! I occasionally work with younger clients depending on what issues they or their family want to address.

How often will we meet? For how long?

I typically see people once a week for 60 minute sessions. I find that having a regular time to meet each week can be helpful. I tailor therapy to meet individual needs, so length of time in therapy can vary.

Where are you liscenced?

I have a clinical license to practice throughout the state of Pennsylvania. I can see people throughout PA in person or virtually.

Do you do tele-health only, or can we meet in-person?

I see clients in person in my office in Ardmore, Pennsylvania or meet virtually if preferred through a HIPPA compliant zoom platform. I can also offer hybrid therapy for those who want to come in person sometimes, and meet virtually at other times.

What trainings do you hold?

I have extensive training in using a psychodynamic approach that looks at life experiences and relationships. While my overall approach is psychodynamic, trauma-informed and relational, I also have other specialized training and experience in:

ADHD and neurodivergence

Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children and adolescents

SPACE training through Harvard University that supports parent-based treatment for childhood anxiety and OCD.

CBT training through the Beck Institute

Training through the American Diabetes Association for mental health professionals working with people with diabetes

How much do you charge?

My out of network fee is $160 per 60 minute session. I offer a few sliding scale spots, and if you may be eligible please reach out to see about openings.

Do you take my insurance?

I do not currently take insurance, but I can provide receipts for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
