Hi, I’m Miriam Fife, Ed.D., LCSW. Welcome to Olive Tree Therapy.

I work with adolescents, adults, parents/caregivers and families either in person in Ardmore, Pennsylvania or online anywhere in the state of PA. My approach is relational and psychodynamic, and I focus on helping you navigate challenges and transitions in your life, cope with stress, and manage change. Together, we create a space of safety and compassion, while working to help you feel empowered and confident in your day-to-day life.

I trained in Clinical Social Work at Bryn Mawr College’s Graduate School of Social Work. I also hold a Doctorate in Education from the University of Pennsylvania. My experiences in both fields inform my understanding of development across the life span and whole-picture issues that influence our everyday lives.

Reach out to Olive Tree Therapy if you’re looking for help with:

Life Transitions, Anxiety, Depression

We all go through changes in our lives, and often we need support as we adjust to these changes. You may also be living with anxiety and/or depression. Through therapy tailored to your individual needs and challenges, your mental health and well being can improve.

Chronic Illness

It is common to feel isolated and stressed when coping with chronic illness, or as the partner or caregiver of someone with a chronic illness. In therapy, we can work together on reducing isolation, burnout and health-related stress.

I have specialized experience and training in working with people with diabetes, and parents of children diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.

Caregiver Stress and Burnout

Parents/caregivers often feel they have lost themselves in caregiving. Therapy can provide a space to find your way back to also caring for yourself and to reduce burnout. This applies not only to parents/ caregivers, but also to mental health and medical professionals.

Learning Differences, ADHD and other forms of Neurodivergence

Coping with your own learning differences, or supporting loved ones with learning differences can feel like unchartered territory. The same applies when you or someone you love is diagnosed with a form of neurodivergence. Therapy can address how you support yourself or others along this journey.
